Ash vs. Evil Dead is an upcoming Tv Show created by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell for the Starz network. It is set in the Evil Dead franchise and serves as a sequel to The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II andArmy of Darkness.
The series stars Campbell reprising his role as Ash Williams from the Evil Dead films. Jill Marie Jones, Ray Santiago, Dana Delorenzo and Lucy Lawless also star. The series is executive produced by Campbell, Raimi and Rob Tapert who originally produced the first film - Wiki
Today at SDCC the trailer was unveiled and...well...I honestly think this is going to be a fun time. Its not the dark horror I was hoping for but, it does seem like everyone involved is having a blast and makes you want to have a blast with them. The opening joke really was not my cup of tea and truly not what I wanted for this series. However I did find a lot of the humor throughout the rest of the trailer did work. It may not be what I wanted but I have already convinced myself to except it and enjoy it for what it is and you know what? I think i'm going to.
