Blu-Ray Announcement | Lionsgate to Re-Release Halloween 6 (Producers Cut)

Lionsgate now has the rights to Halloween 6 and is going to release the Producers Cut in a solo release. 

Those of you who skipped out on the Scream Factory/Anchor Bay Boxset because you did not want to double dip on 9 films just to get the Producers Cut of Halloween 6 should be happy right now. Why? you ask. Well it looks like Lionsgate is going to be putting it out in a solo release. This is good news for my homie and co-owner Jeremy Freeman as he did not grab the boxset. Even though this is not huge news for those of us who did buy the set, IT IS a positive step forward for Lionsgate. Lionsgate has a huge library (Artison, Vestron, Trimark Etc.) which includes films that remain unreleased and some that need HD upgrades. All that we have to confirm this is a screen cap from one of Lionsgates Press sites. I am reaching out to my press contact at Lionsgate to confirm this release I will update when I know more.
