Some of you may remember that as soon as subscription boxes hit the horror world, the 22 Shots crew instantly said this should be done with DVD's/Blu-rays. I don't remember the exact episode of the show but we talked about this idea at length and even jokingly said that WE should be the ones to do it. Thankfully somebody smarter than us came along and actually did it.
Introducing Horror Pack the new horror movie subscription box service. The exciting new service welcomes horror fans of all sub-genres, from mainstream and indie to commercial and foreign. HorrorPack provides customers with a convenient and exciting way to start or expand their DVD or Blu-ray horror movie collections.
Each month, HorrorPack’s team of filmmakers and fans seek out the best four horror movies available on DVD and on Blu-ray. The DVD and Blu-ray packs contain different movies, for a total of eight different films shipped every month. The contents of each pack are kept secret until the pack arrives, leaving subscribers in suspense each month.
The HorrorPack team carefully selects each movie based on three criteria. Is it a movie they would add to their personal collections? Would the movie cost more if bought separately and not in a pack? Is the movie currently not available on popular streaming services? If it meets all three criteria, it goes in the pack. Movies will not be duplicated - once it’s in a pack, that is the only time it will be offered in that format in a pack.
Subscription plans start at $19.99 per month for 4 DVDs or $24.99 per month for 4 Blu-ray discs. Both plans offer free shipping to US subscribers and economical shipping prices for international customers. The packs get even more affordable when subscribers choose a multi-month plan.
HorrorPack ships worldwide. As long as you have a player that can read region 1 DVDs or region 1/A Blu-ray discs, you can view the films in the pack. The packs ship out to subscribers in the middle of each month. HorrorPack’s November subscription box is available now in limited quantities at https://horrorpack.com.
