Fantastic Fest tweeted out a picture which contained what seems to be sales art for the new Leatherface film. As far as I know this film has not started filming.
Produced by Millennium Films and Lionsgate. "Leatherface" is said to be a prequel of Tobe Hoopers 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Focusing on Leatherfaces troubled youth. The French directing duo Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo who helmed the gory slasher Inside, as well as Livid and Among the Living will be directing.
We can see in the image, that we have what seems to be a little kid, with a shadow that looks like a chainsaw.
I love the TCM series and am even a fan of the fan hated Texas Chainsaw 3D. This is great news for me. Glad to see that there is movement on this project.
