Scream Factory has a huge line up for Summer Of Fear Part II. Lot's of great titles are planned this summer. Below is a list of all the titles and release dates, as well as pre-order links. I thought it would be fun if I gave my Top Five picks out of the 28.
#5 Dog Soldiers, This one has been delayed so many times that I almost forgot SF was still releasing it. It will be nice to finally upgrade my DVD for a collectors edition with a new transfer. Dog Soldier is definitely one of my favorite Werewolf films.
#4 Ghost Town, I'm happy they are releasing Ghost Town, Which has never been released on DVD let alone Blu-ray. I have seen this one before as a kid but really don't remember it. Western Horror is also one of my favorite odd-ball combos. Wish this one was a Collectors Edition.
#3 Scarecrows, A awesome film that I picked up on DVD like a week before it was announced. Still super excited to check out the Transfer and Special Features/
#2 Sleepaway Camp II & Sleepaway Camp III, These two go together! I loved SF's release of the OG Sleepaway Camp during the first Summer Of Fear. It was awesome that it released just in time for our season finale (Ep 22). Ever since that episode I really have a new found love for the franchise and cant wait for these Collectors Editions.
#1 The People Under the Stairs, Finally this film is getting the release it deserves, with the Scream Factory Collectors Edition treatment. I am stoked, I have always been the biggest fan of this film ever since seeing it on Monstervision in mid 90's. Great Artwork!
