Vault Of Horror is a weekly post in which Jp & Chris strive to bring the horror community a special lost, forgotten, or rare piece of horror history. The vault houses oddities of all variety and we will highlight one each week. So come back every Tuesday for your weekly horror fix.
For week 3 of Vault Of Horror we have Cry Baby Lane (2000). Cry Baby Lane was a Nickelodeon produced T.V horror movie that aired on the night of October 28, 2000. Several parents complained that the film's content was too scary, and inappropriate for children. So the film was pulled and banned never to air again during the next decade. Cry Baby Lane was thought to be a lost film for over a decade, and gained a large cult following due to its obscurity. A search began for the lost film, and in August 2011, the user Firesaladpeach from the website Reddit recovered a VHS copy recorded from the film's original broadcast and made it available online (Which is the version posted today). In July of 2011, due to the popularity of 90's Nickelodeon programs on social media. Teen Nick decided to create a block for 90's specific programming called The  90's All That. The success of The '90s Are All That as well as the previous mentioned Reddit thread prompted TeenNick to re-air Cry Baby Lane on the night of October 31, 2011. It reran again on March 31, 2015.

Cry Baby Lane is notable for many reasons. Whether its the subject matter involving Siamese twins being sawed in half, The fact that it was banned and considered lost for over a decade or the fact that you still can't get it on DVD. The Movie plays like a long episode of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid Of The Dark?. It is not the best movie in the world but it deserves note for its place in horror history.
The film follows - Two brothers as they investigate a legend involving local farmer whose wife gave birth to Siamese twins, one being good natured while the other was clearly evil. The farmer, ashamed of them, kept the twins locked in their room. Eventually the twins got sick and died together, so the farmer sawed them in half and buried the good twin in a cemetery and the bad twin in a shallow grave near the house.
