What's Going On With Artsploitation? I Have The Answers!

We have a much needed update from Artploitation

     Artsploitation is a company that is no stranger to the 22-Shots family. We here have reviewed a lot of Artsploitation releases, and because of that a lot our listeners have purchased those releases.

Back in October we saw the release of Bloody Knuckles (Review) and have not seen another film since.

We knew Artsploitation had picked up new titles such as: Bunny: The Killer Thing, a Finnish film about a half rabbit, half man, sex fiend.

Also there was German Angst, an anthology featuring a segment by famous extreme director Jörg Buttgereit.

It turns out those releases along with others were part of a distribution deal with the company FilmRise. 13 films will be released through FilmRise with Artsploitation doing the publicity and media.

The films are as follows:

3. Bunny the Killer Thing
4. Female Werewolf
5. Blue Family
6. If He Hollers
7. Death in Buenos Aires
8. The Dream Children
9. German Angst
10. Toro Loco - Bloodthirsty
11. 3 Beauties
12. Perfect Obedience

  13. The Wicked Woods

Most of these films have been released through Amazon this past March and April VIA burn-on-demand with others coming in the near future.

After the release of the final film, Artsploitation will once again be releasing their own films beginning in June with the French suspense drama FEVER.​

What about the numbered spines we all know and love? Well I asked and here is the reply I got.
"As for numbered spines...Done. I'll make sure our artists include them going forward. I like it too," said Director of Social Media and Publicity for Artsploitation Films Byl Holte.
